Louisville football gets a major update on 4-star cornerback Miles Brown, as the Cardinals learned they made the elite corners final four and the commitment date. The Cardinals have been turning heads with their 2027 recruiting class, as they have already landed multiple 4-star recruits, including 4-star corner Allen Evans.
Louisville's eye-popping 2027 class gets even stronger after 4-star commit surges
Evans is a Louisville native who is the highest rated commitment in the Cardinals' 2027 recruiting class, as he ranks as high as a 4-star, No. 69 in the nation, and No. 10 among cornerbacks. Along with Evans, Jeff Brohm also landed 4-star safety Jordan Haskins, who is also a Kentucky native.
And now, Louisville is one step closer to having a dominant secondary in this 2027 recruiting class as they are in a recruiting battle with Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ole Miss for another 4-star cornerback after this major update.

Louisville football one step closer to landing 4-star CB
Brown is a 4-star cornerback who has earned over 11 offers, including from Vanderbilt, Purdue, Mississippi State, Maryland, and others who didn’t make the updated list. The Tennessee native is ranked as high as No. 430 in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 42 among cornerbacks.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback has a visit lined up with Louisville this summer, but the 4-star also announced with his updated list that he will make his commitment announcement on May 19.
It appears Louisville is in the hunt for the 4-star as they made the next round, but it is worth mentioning that Tennessee appears to be the dominant favorite. Louisville, Kentucky, and Ole Miss all have “warm” next to their programs, according to 247Sports, but On3Sports currently gives the hometown state a dominant 88% chance of earning Brown’s commitment.
It would be another huge get for Brohm and Louisville, as they currently have a unanimous top-20 recruiting class in the 2027 cycle. Right now, Brohm’s 2027 recruiting class is trending towards making history, as Louisville has never had a recruiting class rank in the top 20 after signing day.
Brown would be a big-time get for Brohm and would be a huge addition to this already eye-popping 2027 secondary, but now that they have gotten to the next round, it appears they have to work some magic and find a way to beat Tennessee and the home state out for the 4-star.
