Louisville football is expected to have a handful of recruits visit this weekend, as the Cardinals will start making a big push in recruiting. Jeff Brohm has emerged as one of the best coaches in College Football and the ACC specifically.
The Cardinals head coach was ranked No. 17 out of every college football coach by CBS Sports and the second-best ACC coach by multiple experts and analysts.
Brohm now looks to elevate his program, as he is 19-8 through the first two seasons, and will look to improve his already stacked 2026 class. Louisville learned on May 25 that an underrated offensive lineman will be visiting the Cardinals this weekend on May 30.

Louisville football earns official visit this weekend from underrated gem
The Cardinals' 2025 class was ranked second to last in the ACC, as Louisville's 16 commitments were all 3-stars, meaning Brohm and his staff struck out on every 4-star athlete they tried to recruit. However, the Cardinals have had much more luck in the class of 2026, as they have earned four 4-star commitments and have a consensus top-25 recruiting class.
Louisville looks to improve its recruiting class this weekend. The Cardinals will host multiple athletes, including 3-star 6-foot-7 offensive lineman Pete Eglitis. The Ohio native is ranked as a top 1300 recruit in the class and a top 100 offensive lineman, as he is ranked as the 97th best offensive lineman in the 2026 class.
Eglitis will return to Louisville for his second visit, but his first official visit. The Cardinals earned an unofficial visit in late March earlier this year and will now earn their official visit on May 30. The 6-foot-7, 270-pound lineman has earned interest and visited elite programs such as Ohio State, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Indiana. However, he has yet to receive an offer from any of those schools, but he has earned over 19 offers from Kentucky, Iowa State, Wake Forest, Missouri, Pitt, and others.
Eglitis has an official visit lined up with Iowa State on the first weekend of June and Pitt on June 21. The Cardinals' 14 commitments from the 2026 class are ranked as high as the 16th-best class in the nation.
