Louisville football received excellent news late last week, as one of the top running backs from the state of Tennessee announced on X that Jeff Brohm and the Louisville Cardinals are one of his three final schools.

Earlier in the offseason, the Cardinals landed one of the top recruits from Kentucky as the 4-star running back Evan Hampton chose Louisville over Kentucky, where Duke, Indiana, North Carolina State, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

Louisville appears to be on the verge of landing another top running back target in the class of 2026. Lekhy Thompkins is set to announce his commitment on May 23, and the race is now between Louisville, Memphis, and Minnesota.
