Louisville football first practice is set to take place on March 3, and the Cardinals football program is trying to secure their fourth straight season of eight or more wins.
Jeff Brohm and his UofL squad lost some heavy hitters on the defensive side, and has some glaring holes to fill in the spring transfer portal, but on the offensive side this Cardinals offense might be one of the most dynamic and explosive groups not just in the ACC, but in the nation.
Louisville football will bring back key starters like Isaac Brown, Caullin Lacy, Chris Bell, Pete Nygra, and Lance Robinson. Cardinals lost some key players to NFL draft like Ja'Corey Brooks and quarterback, Tyler Shough, but Jeff Brohm and his staff brought in one of the top quarterbacks in transfer portal to lift this Cardinals offense to an unstoppable beast.
Louisville football addition of Miller Moss will make their offense an unstoppable beast
Louisville football enters the 2025 season ranked No. 20 in ESPN's way-to-early rankings, and their win total is set to 8.5.
Cardinals get this great recognition thanks to their addition of quarterback from Souther California, Miller Moss. The 6-foot-1, 205 pound quarterback transfers from USC, and looks to elevate this explosive Cardinals offense to the next level and make history next season.
Moss had 2,555 passing yards, with 18 touchdowns and had a completion percentage of 64.4%, and a QBR of 74.4, which was one of the best in college football last season. Jeff Brohm and Louisville saw Moss back in his first start in his college career back in the Holiday Bowl in 2023.
Moss torched the Cardinals defense as he threw history, as he now holds the Holiday Bowl, and USC bowl game record for most thrown touchdowns with six. On top of that he threw 22 of 33 which is a completion percentage of 69.9% and had 372 passing yards.
"You can tell we have an experienced guy, that he's seen things before, which is beneficial." Jeff Brohm stated on Miller Moss. "We're excited to get to work with them for the next six to 10 months, and to put together the best season we possibly can."
Moss is joining an elite offense as pairing Moss up with potential All-American running back Isaac Brown, and a star wide receiver in Caullin Lacy, sets this offense up for elite potential
Lacy was limited in his first year with the Cardinals last year due to an injury, but still was able to bring 18 catches for 196 yards and a touchdown. However, the year prior he played with South Alabama and had 91 catches for 1,316 yards and seven touchdowns. His 1,316 receiving yards ranked seventh in the country, and his 91 receptions ranked eighth in the nation.
Pairing Moss's ability to throw and his full potential under Jeff Brohm with Lacy's speed will make this duo one of the best college football's deep ball threat duo. On top of that you add the facor that Louisville has one of the best running backs returning in Isaac Brown, and it makes the offense balanced and lethal.
Brown played in every game las season and ran for 1, 173 yards, 11 touchdowns on 7.1 yards per carry. He led the ACC in yards per carry, and was No. 24 in the nation in rushing yards, and third in the ACC.
Miller Moss Moss, Isaac Brown and Caullin Lacy are set to be a three-headed monster, and nearly unstoppable beast to defend, and have the potential to be one of the best offenses in the country.
