The College football countdown is on, as fans have to wait 15 more Saturdays for the beginning of the 2025 season. There are over 100 days until the first game, but that doesn't stop experts from their way-too-early rankings and their way-too-early playoff and bowl predictions.

The Louisville Cardinals are expected to be a contender to compete in the ACC Title game, but if Louisville football wants to achieve that goal, they must pull off some big-time wins over Miami, Clemson, and SMU. The Cardinals' ACC schedule is challenging, as they have to play the top teams in the conference.

That said, the Cards' offense has what it takes to be a contender for the ACC. As the Spring Game passes and the portal winds down, we approach summer and fall camp. During this period, predictions and rankings will draw attention, and it appears 247Sports, Brad Crawford's, has already predicted the College Football Playoffs and every bowl game, including the Cardinals.

Louisville football out to prove doubters wrong after latest bowl prediction

Crawford made his prediction for every Louisville football game back in February, as he predicted the Cardinals to go 7-5. The 247Sports expert predicted Jeff Brohm and the Cardinals would get upset on the road against Pitt and Virginia Tech, losing all their big games against SMU, Miami, and Clemson.

Crawford's prediction that the Cardinals would go 3-5 in the ACC was disrespectful and fired up the fans at the time. Louisville is expected to have one of the top offenses in the nation and be a legitimate contender for that ACC crown this year. Unfortunately, his prediction of Louisville going 7-5 doesn't equal a Bowl that fans are thrilled about, as in his latest Bowl prediction, the Cardinals are going up against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Gator Bowl.

Last year, the Gator Bowl featured the Ole Miss Rebels and the Duke Blue Devils. According to FanDuel, the Cardinals' win total is 8.5, and Louisville is trying to achieve nine wins for its third straight season under Brohm. The Cardinals have a chance to shock many college football experts and fans this upcoming season, and if Louisville can win two of its three big games, this Brohm squad has a good chance to compete for the ACC Title.

Crawford predicted two ACC teams to make the College Football Playoffs, as he forecasts the Miami Hurricanes to be the No. 10 seed and the Clemson Tigers as the No. 3 seed, implying the Tigers and Hurricanes will be in the ACC Championship game. Crawford predicted both ACC teams to lose in their first matchup of the College Football Playofs.
