Louisville football is set for another major recruiting weekend, as Jeff Brohm is scheduled to host over 10 recruits. Last weekend, the Cardinals had their first of many huge summer recruiting weekends, which ultimately led to a key 4-star commitment.
Jeff Brohm and Louisville land 4-star ATH over Georgia, Miami, and more after recent visit
4-star ATH AJ Tillman Jr. visited Louisville last weekend and committed to the Cardinals after his visit on Monday. Tillman plays both offense and defense, as he rushed for 1,502 yards and 17 touchdowns and secured 42 tackles, eight pass deflections, and two interceptions across the last two seasons. Tillman ranks as high as No. 226 overall in the 2027 recruiting class.
Now, Louisville is going to try to land another 4-star this upcoming week, as Brohm and the Cardinals are set to host the surging 4-star linebacker, Theo Wilson.

Wilson recently took an unofficial visit to Louisville back in April, and now the 4-star is making his official visit to the Cardinals this weekend. This appears to be an ACC battle for the 4-star linebacker as Virginia and North Carolina are also in the mix for Wilson, but LSU is right there as well.
Right now, ESPN has Wilson ranked highest among all recruiting outlets as a 4-star linebacker, No. 292 in the 2027 recruiting class, No. 20 among linebackers and No. 32 from the state of Florida.
The Cardinals extended their offer to Wilson back in 2025 and have continued to make a strong push for the 4-star linebacker. Right now, Wilson has over 35 offers, including from major Power Four programs like LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, and many others.

The Cardinals are the second stop of Wilson’s summer visits as of right now, as Virginia hosted him first on May 29, and after he canceled his North Carolina visit, he moved Louisville up to June 5, and the last visit as of now is LSU on June 19, according to 247Sports. Louisville and Virginia both have “warm” next to their names, while LSU still has “cool”, according to 247Sports.
Wilson had a breakout junior season for Armwood High School, as the 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker secured 96 total tackles, 34 tackles for a loss, 17 quarterback hurries, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. His dominant 2025 season helped lead his team to 13-1 and to Florida’s 6A semifinals.
Now, the Cardinals will look to land the 4-star linebacker over Virginia, LSU, and others, and hope to get good news shortly after their visit. Louisville is trying to have the best recruiting class in program history. In 2006, the Cardinals ranked No. 24 in the nation, and right now Louisville’s 2027 class ranks No. 22.
Adding a player like Wilson would definitely give the Cards a chance at history, and this weekend's visit is a huge step in the right direction to try and make that happen.
