The NBA recently announced that all 75 players were invited to the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, and unfortunately, no Cardinals were invited. Some Cards' fans were annoyed as they felt their star player from last season, Chucky Hepburn, deserved an invitation.
Well, while he might have missed out on an invitation to the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, he did receive an invitation to the 2025 NBA G League Elite Camp, according to Michael Scotto.
Hepburn was the only Cardinal to receive the invitation, as their were just 44 invitations sent out. The 2025 NBA G League Elite Camp will take place in Chicago, Ill. at the Wintrust Arena from May 9-11.

The 2025 NBA G League Elite Camp will be a crucial opportunity for Hepburn to showcase his skills in front of NBA scouts, coaches, and GMs before the NBA Draft on June 25. The camp will consist of five-on-five scrimmages and drills that test his strengths and weaknesses and allow him to prove why an NBA team should take a chance on him.

Hepburn is coming off his best season, in which he averaged 16.4 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game while shooting 43.2 percent from the floor and 32.8 percent from beyond the arc. Hepburn's incredible season was a glaring reason the Cardinals had a historic turnaround season, as he helped lead the Cards to the best year-to-year improvement, improving by 19 wins.
His remarkable season earned him accolades. He would become the ACC Defensive Player of the Year after his 82 total steals led the ACC and were No. 9 in the nation. He also would earn All-ACC First Team, as his 198 assists ranked third in the conference and No. 24 in the nation.
