Louisville football and the Kentucky Wildcats are going head-to-head this weekend during Rivalry Week for the Governor's Cup. The Cardinals thumped the Cats last weekend, thanks to a dominant performance by Isaac Brown, winning 41-17. However, the feeling for this game is very different: the Cards are 7-4, the same record as last year heading into this game, but they are on a three-game losing streak.

Louisville was once a touchdown favorite as the Cardinals opened up as 6.5-point favorites over the Wildcats. However, with Jeff Brohm's press conference yesterday and his ruling out star wide receiver Chris Bell, the line has once again moved and not in a good way for Louisville fans.

Louisville vs. Kentucky betting line continues to move after Chris Bell's injury update

The Cardinals saw drastic movements in the line after they lost 38-6 over the weekend to SMU. That 6.5-point line quickly moved to Louisville, just favored by 3.5 points, and now, after Bell is ruled out, Louisville is only favored by 2.5 points, according to FanDuel.

The Cards' offense is currently on life support, as Louisville might be without star running backs Isaac Brown and Keyjuan Brown. Brohm gave no update on them and said starting quarterback Miller Moss is questionable. With Louisville's stars possibly on the sidelines, the fans are seeing the oddsmakers quickly shift towards Kentucky.

Louisville is eyeing its third season of nine wins or more, and if it wants that to happen, it has to keep the Governor's Cup in Louisville and win its bowl game. Kentucky is coming off a 45-17 loss to Vanderbilt and is 5-6.

Louisville and Kentucky will kick off from L&N Stadium this weekend at noon local time.
