Louisville football vs. Syracuse: how to watch, odds, injuries, more for Week 7 matchup

Louisville fans saw Isaac Brown and this run-game takeover last week, when Brown had a historic game, rushing for 235 yards. Now they face Syracuse, which has yet to win a conference game this year, and hopefully they don’t get their first ACC win tonight.

The Cardinals have no margin for error left and are in a must-win situation from here on out if they want any chance of making noise and putting themselves in position to make the ACC Championship Game. So, let’s break down how fans can watch, the final odds, and make some predictions.

Big Red Louie Predictions

The Cardinals and Syracuse last played in 2022 when Syracuse dominated 31-7. In fact, in the last two meetings at JMA Wireless Dome, it hasn’t gone Louisville’s way. However, that changes today.

Louisville is the more athletic, physical, and sideline-to-sideline better team. Syracuse has some good players, especially on offense, in running back Ty'lik Hill and wide receiver Umari Hatcher, who could trouble Louisville's defense if it doesn’t limit big plays on the outside. However, we expect Louisville to force turnovers, as QB Steve Angeli has struggled under pressure, and with Clev Lubin leading the nation in QB pressures, we think it will be a long night for Angeli.

It will be another explosive game for Isaac Brown, as Keyjuan Brown remains questionable. Brown will rush for over 100 yards for the third straight game, and we think Louisville will score 40 points or more for the fifth time this year.

Prediction: Louisville 41 Syracuse 27
