Last week, Louisville Cardinals former quarterback, Tyler Shough, put his name on the map in front of NFL scouts and draft analysts.
Shough quite possibly is making the biggest impact out of the Reese's Senior Bowl week and is now ranked in the top 10 for quarterbacks entering the draft and is predicted to be selected in the fourth round.
At UofL had a total of 5,840 yards in their season, which was top 20 in the nation, and averaged 450 total yards per game, 264 yards through the air and 36.5 points per game which ranked No. 9 in the country. Cardinals offense was the only team in the nation to score 24 points or more.
One specific ESPN football analyst is falling in love with Shough ability to throw and the potential he has in the NFL.
Tyler Shough the diamond in the rough according to Louis Reddick
Tyler Shough competed for the National team in the Reese's Senior bowl and had an impressive 6-of-13 passing with a beautiful thrown touchdown to Da'Quan Felton to give the National team the lead.
Earlier this week, Louis Reddick tweeted that Tyler Shough is being "overlooked" and is a perfect fit with the Rams and Sean McVay and would be a match made in heaven.
"He is being overlooked." Reddic tweeted. "But he won’t be anymore. As I said on TV today…if he can play in a system/for a coach like McVay at the , he has starting ability in the league.
Well, Reddick actually doubled down on this take and went on the Rich Eisen Show, and called Tyler Shough the "steal of the draft," and is giving Shough the media spotlight and publicity he deserves.
"There is a quarterback from Louisville, his name is Tyler Shough, he is a transfer from Texas Tech via Oregon," Reddick stated in his opening segment. "I said down there and I said it during the regular season and I will say it now, if you put him in a offense like Sean McVay's, like Kyle Shanahan's, like Kevin Stefanski's, this kid is going to be the surprise and steal of the draft."
Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders, and Jalen Milroe are the unanimous top three quarterbacks going in the 2025 NFL draft. However, after that Shough could see some spotlight in the first four rounds and hear his name called, and Reddick is advocating for NFL teams to start scouting him.
"He can throw it, he is big, he is mobile, he is big, he is mature, he is a guy that has got a lot of mental horse power, and is a guy that who's been coached by Jeff and Brian Brohm, who to me, right now, there is nobody better as far as tutoring quarterbacks for the pro game in all of college football. Remember that name, Tyler Shough."

Tyler Shough stands tall at 6-foot-5 and weighs 225 pounds, and is now becoming one of the NFL drafts top quarterbacks because of Louis Reddick. Reddick is so confident in Shough, he even told Eisen to come call him after the draft and to remember the name Tyler Shough.
