Louisville football is just two months away from their spring game, and the Cardinals recruiting class for 2025 is not getting great recognition.

Jeff Brohm and his staff are not only not in ESPN Top 10, they don't crack On3's top 50. Brohm and his staff signed 0 5-stars, and 0 4-stars according to On3 metrics, and signed 15 3-star players. Cardinals fell short of the goal of cracking the top 50 in both 247Sports and On3 and were nearly identical in the rankings.

Jeff Brohm will be entering his third season as the Cardinals head coach, and will be seeking UofL fourth consecutive season of eight wins or more and his third straight season of at least nine wins. Cardinals wins total line was released by FanDuel yesterday at 8.5.

This recruiting class has a lot to show for, and it currently is flying way under the radar in every recruiting scout metrics.

On3 and 247 sports not in love with Louisville football 2025 recruiting class

Louisville football finished the 2025 recruiting season with the No. 67 class in the country according to On3, and finished No. 68 in country according to 247 Sports.

Miami, Florida State and Clemson round up the top three of the ACC, and Boston College, Wake Forest and unfortunately Louisville Cardinals round out the bottom three. Cardinals have a recruiting class score of 85.067 according to On3, and according to 247 Sports, Louisville football average recruit is an 85.41.

Cardinals biggest signing was C.J. May, an edge rusher out of Highland Alabama. He is 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, and was a top 20 recruit from the state of Alabama according to On3. On3 gave Louisville the worst recruiting class out of all the ACC, they ranked them 17 out of 17 in the ACC.

Louisville football biggest acquisition this offseason was transfer quarterback from USC, Miller Moss. Former USC quarterback had 2,555 passing yards, with 18 touchdowns and a QBR of 74.4 and was one of the nations best.

Moss had a grading score of 90 and four-stars via 247Sports. The Cardinals offense will be one of the best in the country, as Moss, Isaac Brown and Caullin Lacy are going to be a three-headed monster for their opponents.

The transfer portal window is open for 10 days, going from April 16-25, and players can decide if they want to leave their current program in a 30 day window. So,Louisville football is on a ticking time bomb right now, as they have glaring holes, and it must be addressed in the spring transfer portal since their 2025 recruiting class clearly is not getting much love.
