Louisville football is soaring past Mark Stoops and Kentucky

Earlier in the summer, Louisville football pulled off one of the best flips in program history, and it wasn't for a player or a recruit. We are talking about stealing Vince Marrow from their rival, the Kentucky Wildcats.

Since that flip, Louisville has been landing 4-star recruits and their top targets, including No. 1 recruit in the state, Jarvis Strickland. Now, Louisville has 22 recruits committed to the program and is ranked No. 28 in the nation, while Kentucky is ranked No. 49 in the country for its 15 recruits. This is the Wildcats' worst recruiting class since 2012, making it crystal clear that Louisville is becoming the king of the state.

Mom of Louisville’s 4-star commit sent Cardinals Nation into an absolute frenzy

McGregory was on Instagram live for his fans, and when he officially put on the Cardinals hat, the whole family smiled and celebrated. The mom looked directly into the camera, smiled big for the Louisville fans, and threw "L's" up for the Cardinals fans. Louisville fans erupted on social media, going into an absolute frenzy.

Vegas oddsmakers continue to disrespect Jeff Brohm's Cardinals

The Cardinals continue to have the third-best odds to win the ACC, but their odds for some reason keep getting worse and worse. Louisville football was once +650 to win the ACC next season, but now its odds have dropped to +800.

The Cards' odds are still behind Clemson's 110 odds and Miami's +380 odds, and while that does make sense to be behind those two preseason top 15 programs, it doesn't make sense for Louisville to be given +800.
