The 2025 season in coming to an end as their is just seven games left for the Louisville Cardinals, and only a month remaining before the ACC Tournament.

According to Joe Lunardi, five teams from the ACC will make the March Madness, and Duke and Louisville basketball are leading the charge. The Duke Blue Devils are projected to be a one seed, and Louisville and Clemson Tigers are projected to be a seven seed.

After starting 6-5, Pat Kelsey turned this program completely around and has rattled off 12 wins in their last 13 games. UofL is in the hunt for the ACC regular season title and currently sits one game behind Duke in the ACC standings, after the Cardinals victory Saturday.

However, in last night broadcast of Pitt vs SMU, ESPN displayed a graphic that made no sense, and the disrespect to Pat Kelsey and Louisville is at an all-time high.

ESPN's analytics made Louisville basketball fans laugh

Louisville basketball sits in second place in the ACC with a 11-2 record, and are 18-6 on the season. If Louisville just can avoid the injury bug and get healthy, they have a great chance off winning out and ending the season 25-6.

However, on ESPN last night, the broadcast displayed a graphic that shows what ACC basketball teams chances are to make the NCAA Tournament, and it will shock you.

Pitt has lost eight of their last 10 games, Tar Heels have lost five of their last seven, and Cardinals have won 12 of their last 13, which just makes this graphic even more laughable. The Panthers and Tar Heels are collapsing, and the Cardinals are just dominating their opponents, including wins over Clemson, Pitt and UNC.

UNC is currently 14-11 (7-6 in ACC), and Pitt is currently 14-10 (5-7 in ACC), and Cardinals beat both of them. Clemson is 20-5, and they should make NCAA Tournament, but the Cardinals also beat them by 10 points. UNC and Pitt having a better chance of making March Madness over Louisville doesn't add up.

Louisville basketball currently is ranked no. 17 in quality wins according to ESPN FPI rankings. The Cardinals have five quality wins over Indiana by 28, West Virginia by nine, North Carolina by 13, Clemson by 10 and SMU by 25.

The Cardinals top five wins haven’t been just snuck by wins, they have blown these elite teams out the water. The Cardinals five quality wins, which ranks 17 in the nation, is by an average score of 17 points.

UofL has the 24th best strength of record according to ESPN BPI rankings, and UNC comes in at 51, and Pitt is 59. Pitt has a 3-7 record against quality teams, UNC has a 3-9 record against quality teams, and UofL has a 5-5 record against quality teams.

Louisville is one of the most dangerous teams from beyond the arc, as the Cardinals shoot an average 30.7 threes a game which is sixth most per game in the country. UofL have shot a total 737 threes, which is 10th most in country, and have made 237 of them which leads the ACC.

Louisville basketball being behind UNC, and Pitt doesn't make any sense in these analytics, and it is a stat that Cardinals fans just have to laugh at. When the season ends, all of college basketball fans will see Louisville in the March Madness, and will not want their team to go up against the red-hot Cardinals.
